Vote YES YES YES for Children of Laveen

What's this all about?

Glad you asked...

We need your YES votes November 5th on three critical issues for the Laveen Elementary School District.

  • Vote YES to continue the current Capital Override with no increase in tax rate.
  • Vote YES to continue the current Budget Override with no increase in tax rate.
  • Vote YES for a Bond election to raise money for school construction, renovation and other improvements.

Voting YES on the Laveen budget override… (DAA) Capital Override … and M&O Override… is a great opportunity to invest in our students' education and workforce readiness, and ultimately put them on a path to prosperity.

Mayor of Phoenix

What happens if Voters say NO?

What happens if the Capital Override fails?

If the Laveen Capital Override proposal fails, the District will have to rely upon the limited State funding to meet as many facility, safety, security, and transportation needs as possible. Many projects will go unfunded.

What happens if the Budget Override fails?

If the Laveen Budget Override fails, the district will lose funding that supports free full-day kindergarten, special area classes, and competitive salaries and benefits that allow the district to attract and retain high-quality teachers and staff.

What happens if the Bond fails?

If the Laveen Bond proposal fails, the District will not be able to provide for future growth and many critical needs and improvements to schools will go unfunded.
